Cogolin

Cogolin is in the less famous part of the Gulf of St Tropez but makes an excellent base to explore this stunning area. There are excellent restaurants, ranging from simple snack bars to Michelin-mentioned establishments, great local shops and a twice weekly market. Within 20 minutes' drive there are enough world class restaurants to cheer even the most jaded palate. There are also two superb golf courses close by.

The coast is about 10 minutes drive away, at Cogolin Plage there is a man-made beach with sailing available. This part of the coast of the Golfe of St Tropez contains yachting marinas, including Port Grimaud. The glitz of St Tropez is 20 minutes away, and the vast expanse of Pampelonne Beach, with fabulous beach restaurants only 25 minutes away.
