Opio
Opio is a very sweet little Provençal village full of roses and jasmine, perched on a hilltop more than 300 metres high. It is a very historical village which has been restored and conserved over the years, in order to give its locals and tourists an authentic experience with the Roman remains that you will find scattered over the centre. Opio is located in the heart of the French Riviera surrounded by Cannes, Nice and Grasse.
Opio doesn’t have as much to offer as its neighbours, but it is definitely full of heart and authenticity. This is a place where the little things are the things that mean the most, such as the breathtaking panoramic view from the terrace of the Eglise Saint Trophime, the fields surrounding the village, the history that engulfs you from the start, and the kind hearts of the locals.
There are guided tours all throughout summer, which will allow you to learn all about the interesting history of Opio, and see for yourselves what it has to offer.
Summer is booming for Opio, thanks to its many events going on throughout the entire season. You can enjoy jass festivals, concerts, dance recitals, street festivals, meals, musical evenings and so much more... Opio will welcome you with arms wide open, and will never let your heart go.
