About Villa du Midi
Very well-equipped, spacious and comfortable villa, a perfect base to explore the Languedoc region, by car, bike or on foot. The location of the villa is excellent, in a quiet and secluded corner of Homps, yet the Canal Du Midi is just a minute away. You can cycle straight onto the canalside and a visit to Carcassonne is a must, the village of Minerve is beautiful.
There is lots to do in the surrounding area, strolling alongside the Canal du Midi and it's just a 5 minute walk along the Canal bank into Homps with its lively range of bars and excellent restaurants.
The villa has 3 bedrooms to sleep 6: one with King size bed; a twin which can be made into a kingsize if needed and a twin bedded room. There is one ensuite bathroom in the main bedroom and a second large bathroom plus a separate WC.
Open plan living area with UK TV and WIFI Hi-fi with CD and DVD player. From this room are double patio doors opening onto the terrace and pool area.
Spacious kitchen with oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker.
Outside is a large private garden with a sun terrace with table, chairs and sun loungers.
Roman steps into the large kidney shaped swimming pool of 9.5m x 5.5m.

Just spent two lovely weeks here. The villa is incredibly spacious with a big kitchen and large private garden. The pool is lovely - we had brilliant sunshine so were able to enjoy using it every day (we had trouble getting our two girls out of there at times they loved it so much!). We made great use of being able to cycle straight onto the canal, visited Carcassonne - a must, the village of Minerve is beautiful and we also cycled on the passa pais track. A great holiday!

The location was excellent – we were in a quiet & secluded corner of Homps, yet the Canal Du Midi was just a minute away.
