About Ferme de la Vallée
Ferme de la Vallée is a fantastic and spacious restored farmhouse with 7 double bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. There is a walled and enclosed garden with a wonderful heated swimming pool, and is very child-friendly. This property is only 20 minutes away from the Luberon, and Aix en Provence.
The house has been meticulously restored and is full of many beautiful Provencal antiques and paintings whilst providing elegant, spacious and comfortable accommodation with the benefits of a fully equipped modern kitchen. The many facilities include a Satellite TV/dvd, fax/telephone, books and CD music system/Ipod speakers.

Both the house and pool are enclosed within a walled garden creating a secluded and very private environment. The grey/green shuttered house is flanked by large "platane" trees creating shady areas.
The lawned gardens are on two levels, the lower with a large south facing terrace between the house and the pool. Here, one has the option of alfresco dining by the edge of the pool underneath the shade of a vine-covered arbour.
The pool - 12m x 5m, heated, ozone treated, not chlorine, pool house with WC, shower and changing room.
Alternatively there is a second shaded terrace, with large gas BBQ, situated behind the house, bordered with flowers and herbs with a huge stone dining table.

There are a number of excellent Michelin starred restaurants around the property, all within a 10 minute drive. On Tuesday you will find lovely local markets in Cucuron and Lourmarin on a Friday.
There is a local shop in Cucuron which provides a good range of food and is open on Sunday mornings. There is also a bakering and a butchers, and the larger supermarkets are only 20 minutes away.
All local shops open Sunday mornings. Closest supermarket 5-10 minute drive. 30-40 minute walk to nearest local shops. 5 mins drive to excellent restaurants. Local tennis courts, 5 minute drive. Golf courses - within 15 minute drive.

Fees and conditions
- Security Deposit: £1000.00
- Changeover day - Saturday but can be flexible out of high season. Arrival time from 4 pm, departure before 10 am.
- 100% white cotton linen, towels and pool towels, hair dryers. 10 hours cleaning per week. Linen changed weekly.
- 1500 euros/1000 pounds taken as damages deposit upon arrival and returned at end of stay minus any deductions for breakages/phone, etc.
Shaded areas available.
The pool is also enclosed.
Well behaved dogs allowed upon request.
Bedroom 7 is on the ground floor.
The pool is 11m x 5m, with a very deep end for diving and is heated, non-chlorine.
Fans, UK Satellite TV, WIFI, heating, log fires, table tennis, boules, gas bbq.
Iron and ironing board provided plus hair dryer in all bedrooms.
No weddings accepted.

We had a great week, the Mistral blew for a couple of days but luckily not too long and the temperature definitely dropped after day two but lovely blue skies and sun prevailed so a happy time was had.
