Lavender Gîte is a prettily decorated 3 bedroom gîte, located on a private and family-owned Domaine, surrounded by fields and vineyards. With two kitchens and bathrooms and two outside terrace areas, this gite offers privacy and comfort, as well as nice views and atmosphere. The gîte forms part of the main house of Domaine du Pin, part of which was built in 1832 with further extensions built on over the years, making it the large, comfortable family-owned home that it is today. Home to a friendly English family who have lived and worked in the area for over 20 years, they will be available to help you with anything you need from ideas for places to visit to helping you arrange any trips. Otherwise they will simply blend into the background to give you your peace and privacy. The accommodation consists of an air-conditioned open plan room, complete with a kitchen area, breakfast bar, a seating area, wifi, and French doors opening onto a large private terrace, where you will find a table and chairs for outdoor dining, a garden sofa for relaxing, a BBQ, a parasol and 2 sun-loungers for those relaxing days spent reading in the sun. There is a second kitchen/dining/lounge area in the gite with its own terrace, meaning that the gite can in fact be separated into 2 separate gites, ideal for giving grand-parents a bit of quiet time away from the grand-children or 2 couples to have some privacy. The first indoor seating area consists of a sofa and/or two easy chairs, a small flat screen TV and a coffee table. There is a second open plan room with a kitchen area, dining table for 2 with doors onto another shady private terrace located at the front of the property. The gîte consists of three bedrooms in all, two being doubles and one twin. All bedrooms have been tastefully decorated, have a wardrobe and air-conditioning, as well as one of the doubles having doors to the terrace at the front of the property. The first bathroom is spacious with a walk-in shower, basin, bidet and washing machine. One separate WC. The second bathroom has a shower cubicle with a rain-fall shower head, a basin and a WC. OUTSIDE The outside space of Domaine du Pin is impressive and is where the property sees its charm. A large 8m x 4m solar heated swimming pool (enclosed by a wall and gate) is for your private use. The garden is large with lawn areas, olive trees, fig, apple and pear trees, mature shrubs and Mediterranean plants. There is a summerhouse, built with driftwood and using a beach theme. Here you will find a shaded dining area, a comfortable area for relaxing or reading. Exterior lighting for those late night swims! In the garden is the boules court and on the terrace is the ping pong table. There is plenty of space on the lawn to play football. There is plenty of private parking located at the bottom of the garden. Some road noise can be heard from the pool and garden at times but not enough to disturb anyone.
