About Maison Olivier
This walled property has living accommodation of 250m2, a large garden, private swimming pool and games room.
It is located in Capestang in a vineyard area situated just outside of the village. Although it is close to all amenities the villa enjoys peace and quiet.
The house sleeps 12 and a small child.
Enter through the hall on the ground floor into the living room which with an open fire and a dining room with a fully equipped open plan kitchen.
On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms, one with 1 double bed and 2 with 1 single bed; 2 bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower and a separate WC. The view is splendid.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 with 1 double bed and 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 bunkbeds; 1 bathroom and 1 separate WC. Bedrooms are spacious and simply furnished but the views over the vineyards are superb.
Outside is a 8m x 4m swimming pool, garden area and garage.
There is a second gite next door, owned by the same person, and if this gite is rented then the pool area is overlooked by one bedroom window. However, guests in the second gite are not allowed to use the swimming pool, leaving it private for the main house.

The many authentic Cathar Country castles, Quéribus ou Peyreperthuse... and the Medieval City of Carcassonne (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Romanesque abbeys and cloisters, or enjoy watching the pink flamingos flight over seaside lagoons are spectacular locations not to be missed.
Take a walk to the fortified cite of Carcassonne only 20km from the Property. Take a very pleasant walk and discover numerous handcraft shops, restaurants and cafés nested along ancient narrow streets in the City.
The 16 th century 240 km long Canal du Midi, classified a World Heritage Site by UNESCO is well worth worth discovering by boat, bike on on foot along one of the two-path bordered with trees over three hundred years old.
Many lovely villages such as Lagrasse, Olargues, Pézenas, and the Fontfroide, Joncel ou Fontcaude abbeys are to discover as well as the lively town of Narbonne or the regional capital town of Montpellier's pedestrian town centre.
The inlands offer the Haut-Languedoc National Park, the Black Mountains ( les Montagnes Noires), the Tarn valley and the famous viaduc of Millau or the amazing plain of the Larzac.
The Sigean Safari Park with elephants, girafes, crocodiles... is only 45 km to the gite.
Visit the fabulous and spectacular Clamouse and Demoiselles caves.
Capestang tourist board will inform you and help you to make a choice on all what is to be seen and practiced in this region or you can take the option to laze by the pool with a good book or to play Petanque near the house.
The house is located just outside the village of Capestang in a wine making area in the Hérault.
Capestang is a lively 13th century village by the Canal du Midi with restaurants, shops, cafes and twice weekly market, all within a few steps.
The property is 15kms from the historic city of Beziers and the Beziers-Vias airport and 60km from Carcassonne airport.
The Mediterranean beaches are only 25km to the house.
