Le Cheval Blanc is a Camargue elegant town villa, complete with a private swimming pool. Located just a five minute walk from the village of Vauvert in Southern Provence, this holiday home would make an ideal base to explore the Camargue's unique natural heritage; its magnificent wildlife and striking landscape crisscrossed by a system of canals with forests, extensive wetland and sand dunes.

This is an extremely spacious and comfortable holiday villa set on a hillside with far reaching views over the surrounding area as far as Nimes and, on a clear day, to the Mediterranean. Tastefully furnished with traditional French furniture and vintage objets d'art, Le Cheval Blanc features a large open plan living area opening onto a good-size covered terrace affording views over the rural surroundings. Tucked away on a lower terrace is the pool, complemented by a sunbathing area and a lovely pool house. What better place for relaxing whilst sipping your favourite cocktail!

On the ground floor you will find a large open-plan living/dining room with an open fireplace, piano and French doors leading to the main terrace which has beautiful stone steps leading down to the private swimming pool. There is an open-plan fitted kitchen/breakfast room with everything you will need to make a delicious meal.
On this floor you will find one of the four bedrooms; this one is a double bedroom that has air-conditioning (the only room in the house that has this facility) and an en-suite bathroom, as well as a separate WC.

On the first floor is the large landing area and minstrel gallery. There is a double bedroom with French doors to a small private balcony, as well as an en-suite bathroom and WC. The third and fourth bedrooms are twins which can be made into doubles; these rooms have a separate shower room and WC.

The grounds of Le Cheval Blanc are just as impressive as the interior, maybe even more so! With a mature garden, palm trees, shrubs and small lawn areas, your children will find the perfect place to have a run around, whilst adults sunbathe on the soft green grass. Steps lead from the main house and terrace down to the gated swimming pool area on a lower level

Just a few miles from this property is the Regional Natural Park of the Camargue, a fascinating combination of marshlands, ponds and canals inhabited by pink flamingos, white horses, bulls and many other protected species. Jeep tours and horse-riding excursions are highly recommended to enjoy the Camargue at its best. Should you wish to spend a day by the sea, the beautiful, long sandy beaches of L’Espiquette and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer are within half-an-hour drive and so is the picturesque 12th century walled town of Aigues Mortes famous for its antique fairs, shops and excellent restaurants.
