About Villa Occitane
Villa Occitane is a luxury Provencal-style villa with a private swimming pool. It is located in a small private road within the prestigious Pont Royal Golf and Country Club, between Aix-en-Provence and Avignon.
This villa has been built and furnished to a high standard, it is spacious, comfortable and enclosed with private garden to the front and rear, giving you the perfect place to sit and relax in the sunshine with a glass of cool wine. With access to the adjoining Pierre et Vacances holiday village, Villa Occitane is ideal for a family holiday, golf getaway or as a base to explore the surrounding splendours of Provence.
Villa Occitane has 3 bedrooms, all located upstairs - 1 x super king, 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. There is also a travel cot available for your little ones, as well as fans for the hot nights.
There are two bathrooms in this property, one is an en-suite bathroom to the first bedroom complete with bath/shower, basin and WC. The second bathroom is also upstairs and boasts a walk-in shower, basin and separate WC. Downstairs you will also find a cloakroom.
The kitchen is a fully equipped Provencal style kitchen with an oven, halogen hob, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. It is well-equipped with crockery and utensils, including plastic items for children to use near the pool.
In the utility room, you will find a washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is a selection of swimming pool and garden toys to choose from that are available for your use.
The spacious living and dining area comprises of three sofas, an open fire, UK Apple TV system, reliable high speed wifi, DVD player, a collection of DVD's and for music, an Apple HomePod. There is an open plan dining area that can seat up to 8 people, with a high chair available if needed.
The outside area is definitely one of the highlights of this property, thanks to the private swimming pool (Pool is alarmed) which is enclosed in 800m² of private landscaped garden. There is an outdoor table and chairs for those wonderful al fresco meals after a long day spent exploring the countryside, and sunbeds to relax on in the sun. Helping with your al fresco meal - there is a Weber gas barbecue.
The garden to the front of the property also has a table seating 4 under the trees.

Golf
- The 18 hole Pont Royal Golf Course, designed by Seve Ballesteros, is fully matured. It is a par 72 extending over 6303 meters. Other golf facilities include a 6 hole par 3 course, driving range, academy and clubhouse with bar and restaurant open to non-members. Tee times can be booked in advance by email. There are several other excellent golf courses within a 1-hour drive of Pont Royal.
Travel
- Marseille Airport - approx 40 mins.
TGV Gare at Aix-en-Provence and Avignon - approx 30-40 mins.
- Shops and restaurants are located within Pont Royal village.
- Many local villages/towns have markets which are well worth visiting. The nearest large supermarket is in Mallemort (3km). Places of interest within comfortable driving distance include Aix en Provence, Avignon, Gordes, Bonnieux, Loumarin, Chateauneuf du Pape, Marseille, Cassis, Gorges de Verdon.
- Vineyards. There are many located within a short drive, this is the heart of rose country after all! Many offer wine tasting and during the summer months there are often evening events such as music or cinemas.

Fees and conditions
- Security Deposit: £414
- Changeover day is normally Saturday but other arrival and departure dates may be possible during low season.
- Bed linen and towels (excl. pool towels) are provided and changed weekly. Property is cleaned at the beginning and end of each stay. Pool is cleaned weekly.

- Children welcome, this property is also suitable for the elderly, but not wheelchair accessible due to no bedrooms on the ground floor.
