The villa is all on one level and has a very pretty, private pool with wet bar, comfortable sofas and covered dining area. Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms with 3 en-suite bathrooms. Air conditioning in all rooms. 5-minute walk into the village with a bar, restaurant and shops. 20 minutes to the Mediterranean beaches and the same in the other direction to the mountains of the Haut-Languedoc National Park, excellent for hiking and cycling. Saturday or Sunday changeovers.

This is a comfortable family-orientated villa located in an excellent spot for strolling into the village or out into the countryside. Tourbes offers a choice of restaurants and shops and you can walk to any of them! A pretty pool area and air conditioned en suite bedrooms complete the picture. Excellent location for a quiet, relaxing holiday en famille but with easy access to all the delights that the Languedoc has to offer.

Enter La Villa Laval through electric gates and discover a charming property offering informal luxury. It is set within a mature and quiet garden on the outskirts of the beautiful historic village of Tourbes, just a couple of minutes away from popular and interesting Pézenas. A short stroll takes you into the vineyards in one direction, or the centre of the village with its shops, bar and restaurant. Perfectly located just minutes away from the beautiful sandy beaches of the Mediterranean, cycling distance from the rugged beauty of the Espinouse Mountains and ideal for exploring Pézenas, Béziers, Montpellier, Carcassonne, Narbonne and Perpignan.

Relax beside the lovely, landscaped swimming pool to the sound of gently cascading water from the waterfall. Enjoy a drink from the bar on the terrace with its comfortable seating, a great place to chill-out and soak up the sunny south of France atmosphere. The garden offers many shady spots where you can sit and read, or maybe snooze in the hammock. Dine al fresco with built-in barbecue.
The pace of life is slower down here, the local wines excellent.

Bedroom 1: An elegant room (18m²) overlooking the orchard with a king-size double-bed (1.6m x 2.0m) decorated in soft neutrals and accented with rich ruby red curtains and cushions. The en-suite room also looks out onto the orchard and has an en-suite with shower, toilet and vanity with hand-basin.
Bedroom 2: A spacious double aspect room, (18m²), with a king-size traditional iron bed (1.6m x 2.0m). It is decorated in soft cappuccino tones complemented with touches of teal blue. The en-suite bathroom has a large, walk-in rain-head shower, corner vanity unit with hand-basin and a separate toilet.
Bedroom 3: A charming and cosy room (10m²) with double bed (1.40m x 2.00m) that overlooks the Mediterranean garden to the front of the house and is decorated in soft rose tones. This room has a small en-suite with a rain-head shower, vanity unit with hand-basin and a toilet.

The lovely village of Tourbes offers a bar, restaurant and a selection of shops including a bakery, supermarket/tabac, butcher, hairdresser and a pharmacy all within a five minute walk. The bar is at the centre of village life and situated on 'le quai' is an excellent spot to watch the world go by whilst enjoying a glass of wine or a cold beer in the shade of the ancient plane trees. They also serve excellent pizzas. Alternatively, you can enjoy a meal on the terrace at La Table des Vignerons, where the friendly owners serve delicious locally sourced food cooked on a large barbecue.

The historic town of Pezenas, well known for its famous former inhabitant, Molière, is less than five minutes drive away, or accessible on foot/bike via a green way. There you can stroll the ancient cobbled streets of the historic quarter, meander through the pretty shops selling artisanal products and when it's time to eat, there are an abundance of restaurants to choose from. On Saturdays there is a lively and colourful market running the length of one of the main streets and always worth a visit.
The beautiful Languedoc has so much to offer such that choices of what to see and do on holiday are extensive and the only problem is how to fit it all in. From historic Cathar castles and roman ampitheatres to the world famous Canal du Midi, from the untamed beauty of the Camargue with its horses and flamingoes to the elegant sophistication of cities such as Montpellier. There are beautiful vineyards trails to cycle, gently meandering rivers to canoe as well as stunning landscapes to explore on foot or on horseback. And not forgetting, of course, the miles of golden sandy beaches fringing an azur blue sea.
The Languedoc is an outstandingly fascinating area of the south of France offering 300 days of sunshine a year and unbeatable variety. Choose from many excellent Mediterranean beaches from just 20 minutes away, or experience the beauty of rolling hills, meandering rivers, undulating vineyards, sun-baked olive groves and mountain ranges. Visit cosmopolitan cities, historic towns and sleepy villages and enjoy the freshest seafood also not forgetting the vast choice of superb wines, as this is the world’s largest vineyard area.
