Maison Aigues Vives is a fantastic house for families with young children, looking for a relaxing time in an authentic part of the Languedoc.
This villa has everything that you will need, including air conditioning (as well as floor cooling), wifi internet, French satellite TV, play equipment for children (swings, trampoline, treehouse, football goal and basketball net), a pétanque court, a private saltwater swimming pool, a spacious garden and is within walking distance to all amenities, with the coast only 20 minutes away.
On the ground floor, there is a large open-plan living space composed of a lounge, a dining area and a fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, oven and microwave. There is a double bedroom on this floor (bed 120x190cm), a bathroom with a shower and a separate WC as well as a laundry room with a washing machine and a garage.
On the first floor are a further 3 bedrooms - (one double 160x190cm, one double 140x190cm, one twin 90x190cm) with a family bathroom with bath, shower and basin, as well as a separate WC.
The outside area of Maison Aigues Vives is a wonderful place to relax with loved ones. There is a large shaded terrace overlooking the spacious lawned garden and private saltwater swimming pool. There are sunbeds, a hammock, a treehouse, a trampoline, a swing set, a basketball net and a football goal for the children, as well as a BBQ area with a plancha and an outdoor shower with WC.

The village is lively during the summer and boasts 3 bars, 2 fantastic restaurants, multiple boulangeries/patissiers/épiceries, a butcher, a LIDL supermarket, a pottery and home decor shop, a florist, a jewellers, a pizza van, a wine "cave" and an olive oil shop - all within walking distance from the villa.
During the summer months, there are multiple events such as a "brocante" (car boot sale) and the Fête de Garigouille - a 2-3 day festival that takes place every year in August, during which the whole village celebrates together with meals, entertainment, markets, "abrivados" (bull running) and more - not to be missed!
The coast is only 20 minutes away by car (Grande Motte or Grau du Roi) and the famous Pont du Gard is very nearby! Don't forget to visit Aigues Mortes, the arena in Nimes and the beautiful city of Montpellier.

We had a wonderful week in this house
We had a wonderful week in this house. The huge garden and pool were even more beautiful than in the pictures and it was quiet and private. The owner Benjamin showed us around on arrival, he was very friendly and helpful. The house was incredibly well equipped with everything you could need and it was a 5 minute walk into the village to buy croissants in the morning. The house stayed cool despite the warm temperatures and the salt water pool was so clean and didn’t smell of chemicals which is a problem with chlorinated pools. We had a very relaxing week and our three boys had a wonderful time enjoying the pool.
