Set high on a green hill, this village with its authentic charm nestling around its feudal castle, is one of the oldest in the Var. There are several local supermarkets and shops, and nearby villages have colourful markets several times a week where you'll find local potteries and fabrics as well as fresh vegetables, cheese and local specialities.

You will find a farmer's market nearby, which is open every day during the summer, where local farmers bring their own fresh produce which includes rare vegetables of different varieties.

Some of the very best destinations on the Riviera are only a short drive away. Enjoy watersports or a picnic on the banks of the beautiful Saint Cassien lake. Laze on the beaches of the family seaside resorts of Fréjus and Saint Raphael. Wander around the perfume capital of Grasse or Saint Paul de Vence, one of the most visited villages in France.

Don't forget to visit the star of the Côte d’Azur, Cannes, with its palm-lined beaches of La Croisette and beautiful setting. Take a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, or mix with the rich and famous in Monte Carlo.
