Valras holds its market on a Monday – an unusual day, since most shops close on a Monday morning. But perhaps this is all the more reason to head to Valras to do your shopping. The town’s proximity to the sea ensures a great range of super fresh fish and seafood, but there is also plenty of fruit and veg to choose from.

In the afternoon the terrific beaches are a great place to have a little picnic with fresh bought produce from the market. If you're not too much of a fan of a sandy lunch just eat something at one of the restaurants along the boulevard and relax at the beach afterwards. Either way you're guaranteed a nice day out!
