Amnesia Club Cap d'Agde  

Amnesia comes highly recommended by the SFHV team. There are only 4 clubs in this small chain throughout the world and Cap d'Agde joins Ibiza, Los Angeles and Paris to host what is arguably the best club experience in Languedoc and possibly, in the whole of the South of France.

Don't let the name put you off! Amnesia is a reasonably-sized outdoor nightclub, with multiple bars, cloakroom, a DJ booth and a VIP area. Amnesia is definitely a celebrity location, and there are usually well-known DJs playing there. Basto, David Guetta, Martin Solveig, Axwell, Showtek, Quentin Mosimann have all performed there, and there is a constant new line-up for the next best DJs. And it follows that, if you have celebrity DJs, you will get celebrity guests. Last time SFHV were at Amnesia, Richard Gasquet the world-class tennis player was there, too.

Drinks are reasonably priced and there is a lot of space. Prices vary from 11€ up to 30€, or even 40€ for the top DJs,  Pricey - yes, but definitely worth the money! The atmosphere is friendly and fun and plenty of security is in evidence.

Like most of the events in the seaside resorts, Amnesia is exclusively for the summer and is only open for a few months a year.
