Cannes Nightlife
The nightlife in Cannes is about as well-known as the Eiffel Tower; celebrities and “little people” alike, flock to this golden holiday destination to party until morning, before returning home with heels in their hands, knowing that they had the best night they possibly could, and that it will never be topped.
Cannes has an insane amount of bars, and it all goes on at the Rue Commandant André and its surrounding streets; it is the place to be if you want to be involved in any kind of incredible festivity. The great thing about one of the most famous pearls of the French Riviera, is that it has something for everyone; so whether you’re a rich jet-setter flying around in your helicopter, or an adventurous backpacker looking for some fun on a budget, you will definitely find what you’re looking for. Whether coffee bars with live music and casinos are your thing, or if you’re more a fan of rooftop swimming pool night clubs or classy cocktail bars, this is the place for you.
It would be near impossible to list all of the bars, clubs and discos in Cannes, but here are some of the best:
- Morrisons (bar)
- Gotcha Club (disco club)
- Le Vogue (bar)
- Baoli (best and most expensive bar, the place to be)
- Le friends (night club)
- VIP room (club)
- Heel Club (disco club)
Cannes is very kind to its tourists and locals, and will always want the best for them, which is why their clubs and bars are open so late, giving you the opportunity to come out of the smoky bars and hop straight onto a bus, thus eliminating the need for a car and avoiding incidents such as drunk-driving.
As well as the clubs and bars, there are events going on throughout the entire summer, including of course, the International Film Festival.
Cannes is, has been, and will always be the place to be.
