This typical and extremely well-presented old Mas is a magnificent, south-facing stone building. It is located on an exceptional site, a haven of peace at the foot of the Mounts of Luberon, on the heights of the lovely village of Bonnieux.

Although adjacent to the Natural Reserve of Luberon and to the Forest of Cedars, the Mas is only 1 km of the village of Bonnieux, close to shops, restaurants and bars.

The property is situated in the heart of its own exceptional parc of 5 hectares alive with all the colours of Provence. Nature is all around you as you stroll in a landscaped garden, surrounded by fruit trees and a field of wonderful lavender. The atmosphere is heady from the myriad Mediterranean essences. You will be amazed by the old "bories" and ruins you will come across in the middle of the park. Meanwhile, in the Provençal courtyard which is shady and protected, you will find a shady corner to enjoy a coffee, a refreshing tea, a 'gouter' or an apéritif. In the centre of the courtyard is a big fountain fed by spring water.

The stone house,400 square meters, is completely renovated and has air-conditioning throughout (in every room). All 8 bedrooms are decorated with Travatine stone (toilets, Italian showers and bathtubs).
The Provençal kitchen has a central island and all you need to make wonderful meals if you so wish.
In addition, to enhance the luxury of your surroundings, you can enjoy the Finnish sauna, a Jacuzzi in the heart of nature, looking over the heated swimming pool and hammam. The spa is supplied with essential oils, as is the Finnish sauna.

The pool is 75 m2 and is protected at night by an electric curtain. There is also an outside shower.

Note the big fireplace and sound systems inside and outside for your musical evenings.
You can take advantage of garden furniture situated near the swimming pool and the multiple areas to dine alfresco.

And under a shady pergola, you'll find another seating area with 16 deckchairs.

You will discover an immense space for lunches and dinners with a huge barbecue and a stone kitchen sink, a plancha and a pizza oven. In front of the summer kitchen are two big stone tables where more than 20 guests can have lunches or dinners. This alfresco dining area is shaded by an iron pergola covered with Virginia creeper.

You will find a second area dedicated to dinner situated under the terrace lining the lounge not far from the kitchen, and with space for more than 20 guests.

Varied walks are possible in the landscaped garden with its fountains and statues, in the Forest of Cedars, in the private park, or in the field of lavender.

There are loads of activities to while away the hot summer days and the balmy evenings: table tennis, the kiddies' swing, an area for playing boules, a fitness space, a field for soccer or handball, a basketball area, table football, and a castle slide.

Two cotton hammocks await those who dream about a well-deserved rest after all the sports activity.

At night, all the spaces are lit up: the Provençal patio, the garden, the swimming pool, the barbecue area.

From the second terrace, you will discover a breathtaking sight over the Luberon, the garden, the Forest of Cedars and particularly the village of Lacoste.

Bonnieux is a medieval village perched at the top of a hill at the heart of the park of Provençal Luberon and makes an ideal starting point to discover and taste wines of the Luberon and Ventoux.

Provence is renowned for its treasures such as truffles, olive oil, honey, tapenades, flowers. And let's not forget the varied wildlife: foxes, wild boars, hares and birds of prey are abundant in this region so close to the Park.

  • Tal | July, 2022

This stunningly beautiful home is set in a private corner of the Provençal countryside, just 5 minutes from the picturesque village of Bonnieux. We visited as a large family and everyone, from young children to grandparents, absolutely loved the villa. There are many comfortable places to lounge, both indoors and out; and beyond the foosball, ping pong, pétanque, basketball, soccer, trampoline, little zipline and life-sized chess board, much of our time was spent around the lovely heated pool and hot tub, or fixing meals in the well-stocked kitchen or outdoor grill. The grounds are charming and scented by pines and a small lavender field. Aurélie is really wonderful, very gracious and responsive! And we were impressed by the warmth of the locals and enjoyed day trips to Gordes, Aix-en-Provence, the Bonnieux Friday market, and Marseilles. It was a truly memorable trip.

  • Sonia | May, 2022
