Villa Douce is a fabulous family holiday location. There are lots of activities for everyone of any age to join in with. An unusual feature in the indoor koi carp pool - a touch of the East near the Mediterranean. The heatable pool means that the villa can also be enjoyed in May, June and September by groups who can visit outside the school holidays. Recommended for families and friends looking for a comfortable, well-priced and extremely well-equipped villa venue.

Don’t just take my word for it … see what our guests thought.

Fantastic property in a beautiful location. Catherine, the owner, was super friendly and helpful while being easy to contact throughout our whole stay.

    An incredible property and stay

We absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful home. The villa has quite literally everything you could want to be entertained… from boules, ping pong, darts, pool and billiards. I went with my family, some of their spouses and our young nephew. There was ample space for us all to sleep and such great views from the villa. There’s loads of places to convene and chill too such as cosy seating areas to play cards or hammocks to read a book. Catherine was also a great host, staying nearby she was able to drop round a Wi-Fi router the next day after a storm blew out the main Wi-Fi and was on hand for recommendations if needed. You can walk to the village nearby but we’d recommend getting cars to explore further afield. We drove to surrounding cities and towns for day trips such as Cannes, Frejus and Antibes. We also did a day trip to Monaco (which was a little further away). Lac St Cassien is beautiful and a short drive away. There is a small boulangerie in the local village. We spoke to them on the first day and then pre-ordered croissants for the morning so we’d pick them up fresh. We’d recommend doing this for large groups, as it’s a small place and they may not have loads pre-prepared. You also then get the benefit of the freshest croissants. I stayed with family, but this would also be a great place for friends too. Thanks for a lovely stay!

    Fantastic family vacation

Beautiful large house with a beautiful outdoor area. Very nice pool with plenty of space for 13 adults. Playing facilities (billiards, boules, table tennis, etc.). Very friendly and helpful owner. Totally recommended.

    Very good stay

Great stay in this magnificent villa. Lots of time spent at the swimming pool and on the large terrace for very convivial moments. Despite the heat, the house remains cool which is pleasant. The owner is very available and always responded to us very quickly.

Outdated house with lots of space and a beautiful pool

The landlady Catherine is very nice. The house was certainly a pearl with a beautiful pool many years ago. Unfortunately, everything seems very unkempt today. The outdoor kitchen described cannot be used, but that's not a bad thing since life takes place on the terrace and in the large kitchen anyway. Beds, bathrooms, furniture are old and partly broken. That's a real shame because the house could have been made very attractive with a reasonable amount of effort. The town of St. Paul en Foret is nice, but nothing special. Somehow everything feels like it has seen better times. To the beach about 45 minutes. Supermarkets about 15 minutes. We had our dog with us. Everything problem-free. Farm gate not lockable.
