One side of the house has a stupendous and direct view of the perched hillside village of Gordes; from the other side you get views over the Luberon. Walking distance to Gordes is about 2 km, but there is a hill part of the way, so it will take about 20-30 minutes. This luxury rental is a family-owned private property.

This 11 bedroom, 9 bathroom estate is composed of several ancient and restored houses that extend over the grounds; there are three major parts. All communicate inside the house with each other except for the Bergerie, which is only 30 meters away. The layout provides independence and privacy for different groups but also has large areas for communal gatherings. 14 people can be accommodated in the Main House and 6 people in the Bergerie.

With three living spaces - the main mas, maison d'amis, and Bergerie - there is ample space for larger groups of friends or family. The main mas and maison d'amis are each located within the same building, with the bergerie situated past the lavender fields.

Main House: kitchen, dining room, 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, plus the Courtyard with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths.

The Maison d'Amis Guest house: there are two separate apartments each with its own small kitchen, living & dining room. 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths.

The Bergerie has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a kitchen, living and dining rooms.

This is truly a wonderful private family home, with a pool (totally enclosed for safety); tennis court, 10 acres of grounds on which the kids can play and large areas to gather together or simply spread out for some privacy. Please take care not to expect hotel-like service from the caretaker.
