About Residence Royal

A superb 3 bedroom/3 bathroom apartment in the new Residence Royal with stunning views over the bay and the Cap d'Antibes. This outstanding third floor apartment of 105 square metres plus 42 square metres of balcony has all its principal rooms on to the balcony overlooking the sandy Ponteil beach and the bay of Antibes. Its contemporary design and comprehensive amenities make it a joy to stay in.

A wonderful apartment with fabulous sea views and finished to the highest specification.

The master bedroom has a large double bed ; en suite facilities and dramatic views over the bay. Likewise the second double bedroom is also en suite and has the same aspect. The fully equipped Italian kitchen has all the facilities you would expect including fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. The third twin bedded room has its own bathroom with shower and lavatory. The lounge and dining area are open plan with the kitchen and provide a magnificent living space. A spacious balcony runs the full length of the apartment and is ideal for relaxing lunches and dinners from locally sourced excellent meat; fish; seafood and salads and locally produced rosé wine.

Large balcony with two sun loungers, 4-seater sofa and table and chairs to seat 6 people and amazing views over the Mediterranean Sea and the Bay of Cap D'Antibes and awning full width of the balcony. (NB: The balcony gets the sun early morning but only one corner of it gets the sun all day).

This apartment is ideally situated to explore the old town of Antibes; the famous Provencale market which takes place every morning except Mondays; and the Port Vauban , the largest marina in Europe, with a heliport within the port and some of the world's largest and most impressive yachts. Nearby are many fascinating cities and villages including the Provencal villages of Valbonne and Mougins; the old medieval villages of Gourdon and Tourettes sur Loup; Grasse - the capital of the perfume industry; and St Paul de Vence famous for its painters and studios.

Check-in time is between 5 pm and 7 pm on day of arrival. Guests are asked to depart by 10 am so that we can make the apartment ready for the next guests.

Cot and high available if required

This is a most luxurious and modern apartment and extremely well maintained and was recently visited by our team. Guests staying in the apartment have full use of the spa on the ground floor of the hotel. A welcome basket awaits all guests to help you through your first night's stay. there is a local supermarket only 2 minutes walk away with a larger one in the Old Town.

There is a Provencal Market everyday from June to September where you can buy all your locally produced fresh produce

  • Highly recommend staying here if you are holidaying on the Riviera. We have stayed in many apartments over the past 10 years on the Côte d'Azur and this one is the best yet.

    Fantastic apartment with all of the facilities that you would need during a stay and more. Very comfortable with a superb view especially at night when the yachts are lit up and the lighthouse on the cap is on. Very quiet at night and comfortable with the air-con when its hot.

    Location is great, very short walk to beaches, bars, restaurants, Antibes center, with the port and train station a 20 minute walk away. Walk to Juan les Pins is about 25 minutes or you can hop on the bus outside the door.

    We would also like to thank Ivan, the property manager. He was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. We have stayed in many places and a warm and friendly welcome can set the tone for your stay. He was excellent.

    We stayed in Sept for a week and would highly recommend a stay here and hope to return sometime in the near future.

  • This was our fourth stay in this truly magnificent apartment.

    To describe the view from the balcony as stunning does it no justice. Watching the sun size in the morning is bewitching; admiring the sailing flotillas is charming; counting the gin palace yachts staggering; watching the sunset over the lighthouse on the Cap a perfect end to the day.

    Whilst there are some great restaurants within an easy stroll, we enjoy some self catering and shopping in the Provencal Market and local boulangerie an essential part of our visit. However, what is unique about this apartment is that the kitchen knives are sharp! Such a pleasure if you cook.

    Then there is Ivan! Is there a better and more attentive local manager in the business. I doubt it.

    And witout doubt, we will be back next year.

  • This could be described as the ideal holiday rental: From the instructions before arrival, through the friendly, efficient and effective greeting at the property by Ivan, to the comprehensiveness of the equipment and beautifully maintained facilities - everything has been thought through to make this as easy and as comfortable as possible for the guests.

    The appartment is easy to access, extremely well located for the old town and restaurants, and a few steps away from beach facilities, both public and private. The latter benefit from an excellent restaurant.

    The appartment is elegant with clean lines and extremely well equipped. Ivan, the local manager, could not have been more helpful and took care to understand our requirements for the stay.

    No photograph can do justice to the balcony, and the view from it.

    We, a party of five, had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends, and look forward to being able to return.
