Situated beside the famous Canal du Midi and just 2.5 km from the World Heritage site of The Nine Locks (Ecluses de Fonséranes) and 2km from the pretty port of Colombiers on the canal, easily walkable along the old towpaths. 9 bedrooms/7 bathrooms + sofa beds.

About Domaine du Canal du Midi

The Domaine du Canal du Midi can accommodate between 20 and 30 people. It consists of 7 furnished apartments under the same roof which all have a bathroom or a shower room, a kitchen, one or two bedrooms and a living room with TV. Five of the apartments have a private terrace and five apartments benefit from air conditioning.
The common areas allow people to gather for different meals or at other times of the day if the weather does not permit meeting outside.
The dining room has a bar area with sink, glass washer, ice maker and 3-door bar refrigerator. The dining room side has a 45 m² wooden terrace outside and a large garden with trees. There are two toilets and a sink are accessible in the common areas.
The kitchen is fully-equipped with professional equipment, 5-burner gas stove, electric oven, double refrigerator... It also has large work surfaces so that, even with the biggest groups, you will have plenty of room to work and produce wonderful Mediterranean-styled cuisine.
A 13m x 6.5m unheated outdoor swimming pool allows you to spend quality time together in the summer. A pétanque court and a ping pong table complete the range of entertainment.
The estate is bordered on two sides by the Canal du Midi, which offers boat trips, bike rides, walks, etc in the summer.
We are 2.5 km from the famous Fonséranes locks and the same distance from the small marina in the village of Colombiers. Cars can be parked inside the fully enclosed estate.

Béziers, possibly the oldest continuously inhabited town in France, is 15 minutes with a wide range of shops, cathedral and a fascinating history.
Narbonne 30 minutes for variety of restaurants, a view of the original Via Domitia (Roman road between Spain and Italy)
Nearest supermarkets - Lidl, on the outskirts of Béziers, or Intermarché at Capestang.
Beaches 25 minutes
Nearest airport is Béziers Cap-d'Agde (30 mins) or Montpellier (50 mins)
High Languedoc National Park less than an hour for stunning walking trails.
