Les Hautes Terres has got to be one of my favourite Languedoc villas - great for a family holiday or a small group of friends. The private pool area is a lovely spot to relax and soak up the sun and the views are gorgeous. The house itself is of high standard and has everything you'll need.
Cessenon is one of those authentic Languedocien villages where time seems to stand still. The village is nestled on the banks of the Orb river with its river beach and with a few lovely bar/restaurants and a supermarket - all you need within walking distance.
Don’t just take my word for it … see what our guests thought.

A very nice villa in a good location. The views were stunning and the villa is very well equipped with high end equipment, crockery etc. The local village is easy to get to down the hill and we had excellent food in Lou Garic in particular. We also enjoyed day trips kayaking on the Orb and visiting Carcassonne. However, the wasps were a permanent challenge - amazingly only one of our children was stung in the week but we ended up eating inside quite a bit which was a shame. There appear to be nests on both the patio at the back and by the pool and the overall experience would be a lot better if these had been treated.

This is a fantastic Villa
This is a fantastic Villa, extremely well equipped and appointed. We spent many days next to the pool admiring the idyllic view surrounded by complete tranquillity, with nothing but the sound of nature (and the kids) disturbing the peace. The village at the bottom of the hill has everything you need, with several excellent bakeries (sorry), a very good local supermarket with a butchers counter and also a nearby large pharmacy, if required. When it was too hot we retreated to the rear terrace, which offered fantastic views of the valley from partial shade. Plenty of space and lovely landscaped grounds, we will be back!
