The 'Lydia'

An unusual sight to see on the beach in Le Barcarès is the 'Lydia', an old ferryboat which used to operate in and around Australia but which, after a chequered history, can now claim to be the only ferryboat in the world beached high and dry in the sand. You obviously can't sail away in her anymore but you can enjoy her restaurant, disco and casino and occasional exhibitions which are held on board.
