Why Rent a Villa in Corsica?
Corsica rewards travellers who want a base of their own. A private villa here means a pool and terrace above one of the Mediterranean's clearest seas, within reach of beaches that rival the Caribbean and mountain trails that few visitors ever see. Our holiday villas in Corsica range from simple beach houses to luxury properties with infinity pools, air conditioning and staff. Because the island is large and the roads are slow, choosing the right area matters, and our team knows each property and its beaches first-hand.

Where to Stay: South, North-West and Ajaccio
The south, around Porto-Vecchio, Bonifacio and Palombaggia, has the island's most famous white-sand beaches and its most desirable villas, so book early. The north-west, around Calvi and the Balagne, combines beaches with characterful hill villages and is a little quieter. Ajaccio and the west coast make a good-value central base with an airport and easy access in both directions. Tell us the kind of holiday you're looking for and we will point you to the right corner of the island.
Best Time to Visit Corsica
Corsica's villa season runs from May to October. July and August are hot and busy, with the southern beaches at their most beautiful and the best villas booked a year ahead. May, June, September and early October offer warm sea, quieter beaches, superb walking and much better value. Ferries and flights fill fast in peak summer, so book travel alongside your villa.
Planning and Booking Your Corsica Villa Holiday
Corsica takes a little more planning than the mainland: flights are seasonal and the ferry from Nice, Marseille, Toulon or Sète needs booking early if you are bringing a car. The most-requested beach villas in the south sell out first. Tell us a bit about what you're looking for, and our team will be happy to send you a shortlist with options.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Where are the best beaches in Corsica?
A. The south, around Porto-Vecchio and Bonifacio, has the most famous white-sand bays, including Palombaggia and Santa Giulia. The Balagne in the north-west also has excellent beaches with fewer crowds.
Q. How do we get to our villa in Corsica?
A. Fly to Ajaccio, Bastia, Calvi or Figari, or take the ferry from Nice, Marseille or Toulon if you want your own car. A car is essential once on the island.
Q. Do your Corsica villas have private pools?
A. Many do, especially the hillside and luxury properties. Beachfront houses may rely on the sea instead. Tell us which you prefer and we will filter accordingly.
Q. Is Corsica expensive?
A. Peak-summer villas in the south are premium, but shoulder-season weeks and villas in the north-west and centre offer much better value for the same quality of beach.
Q. When is the best time to visit?
A. June and September are ideal: warm sea, quieter beaches and good value. July and August are busiest and hottest.
Q. Is Corsica good for families?
A. Yes. The southern beaches are shallow and sheltered, and many villas have pools and gardens. Bear in mind the slow mountain roads when choosing an area.
Q. How far ahead should we book?
A. For July and August, book six to twelve months ahead, and book flights or ferries at the same time as they sell out fast.
