owner profile

"This charming villa is situated just a mile from the centre of Vence, a medieval town dating back to the 12th century which has kept both its ramparts and its Provencal atmosphere. You may be very interested in visiting the famous Matisse Chapel, which is very close to Villa Mozart. Vence is also famous for its 51 fountains, the best known being “La Fontaine du Peyra”, and you can follow a "Water Walk" around the town to make sure you see as many as possible! The old town is a treasure trove with its cathedral, chapels, squares and town hall: everywhere there is an invitation to stop and relax on a shady café terrace. There are over 200 marked paths for walkers. Just 3 miles away is St Paul de Vence, where art lovers will feel very at home. One particularly lovely feature of this villa is the charming garden, set out separately on a level below the pool ... very peaceful."
