The first step of letting summer rentals is to advertise your holiday home. The best way to do it right, is to put yourself in the shoes of the client. Picture yourself looking for a holiday home to rent for a week during summer; it’s the first holiday you’ve had all year, and you want it to be perfect.

Now picture a property page with impeccable description, affordable prices, and accurate availability - one catch, the photos are low quality, pixelated and dark. This is a deal breaker for a lot of people, which is completely understandable, as people need to see a product before they buy it, which rings true in every aspect of life. Even more so, experience teaches us that villas with low-quality photos receive far fewer hits and interest than properties with nice, high-quality photos.

Having good quality, large photos changes everything. It gives you an edge, it gives you the opportunity to display your property as you see it yourself. In order for a property page to show the home's full potential, good-quality photos are vital. You need to showcase every single room of your holiday home, and extensive photos of the outside area

Now one thing that goes hand in hand with good photographs, is expense. But we are here to tell you that it doesn’t need to break the bank! Here at South France Holiday Villas, we have team members who are based in the Languedoc for the better part of the year. They don't only take the better part of the marvellous amateur photos featured in our articles and holiday guides; they also know their way around photographing holiday homes and apartments.

As said, we offer high-quality, large dimension edited amateur photos and we're able to offer this from a starting price of only £50! The final price will depend on the size of the property and its location. Our team is based in Béziers, and we're happy to accept photography projects up to a 1-hour drive from the town. After the photos are taken we'll need some time to select and edit the best ones, this can take a few days, but before you know it you'll have a lovely email with a selection of your villa's photos that'll make you doubt about renting it out but moving in yourself instead!

  Villa Rigal

  Take Stephane Rigal for example, in 2016 he started out as a first time renter. He renovated his home top to bottom, upgraded his furniture and landscaped the garden - the only thing he was missing was good quality photos. He got in touch with us, we scheduled a visit and took about 100 photos of his home’s exterior and interior. After a short waiting period in which we edited the photos, they were up and running, and he couldn’t have been happier. Since, he has almost fully booked his 2017 summer.

  Domaine du Pin

  Another example is some of our clients in Béziers. They live on a stunning Domaine, and rent out two gîtes on the ground floor. South France Holiday Villas took their photos also, took the care to capture each aspect of the property and made the photos live on the website. This property has already received 7 bookings for this summer, at the time of writing this.
