Customer Reviews

  • " The house interior met expectations as did the pool area. The owner is French and doesn't speak any English, though she was friendly and helpful. The value for money was reasonable. The quality of the equipment in the property was very good, as was the cleanliness of the property on arrival. The booking procedure was excellent. Fantastic service by Jill from beginning to end! We would be happy to book with SFHV again and recommend this property. "

  • “Lovely house and pool”
We had a very enjoyable stay in Trebes with our 2 teenage children and 2 adult friends. The house is lovely, and exactly as it appears in the photos. The garden is equally nice, with a nice clean pool and a comfortable shady area around the pool. There is a good gas barbeque and pleasant outside dining area with garden and pool lights. The location of the house is a bit more urban than we expected - Trebes is a town rather than a quaint village, with a car mechanic business next door and a big factory in view of the garden. However this doesn't detract from the house and pool which are quiet and not overlooked, and it means that the shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants were all within easy walk. Carcassonne is an easy 10 minute drive, though the other Cathar castles are generally an hour or more away.  All in all, an enjoyable holiday in a comfortable property.
