Under the shade of Mediterranean Windmill palm trees is where you will be able to bathe in the privacy of the fenced-off pool, with 6 sun loungers to relax. The landscaped garden is 1500m2, and the mature trees around provide a perfect amount of shade. In the evenings, the different terraces can seat up to 12 guests at the two outdoor dining tables so the whole house can assemble for a well-earned poolside feast around a charcoal barbecue. When you’re not marvelling in Pezenas's cultural wealth or enjoying a sultry evening by the beach, you’ll find yourself relaxing in this stunning contemporary villa and its pool and enjoying a calm southern setting with all the amenities of a modern villa.
About Villa Pavilion
The Main House :
The main house (160m² - 4 bedrooms) and its annex (60m² - 2 bedrooms) give a whole new meaning to “indoor-outdoor” living where you won’t know where one finishes and the other begins.
The main house which has a combined 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms is purposefully open plan, so that a gentle breeze will suffice in keeping it cool when the air-conditioning (available in all of the main house’s bedrooms) would be excessive. The living rooms’ floor-to-ceiling French windows give panoramic views of the garden directly from its large sofa which can seat up to 6 people. The tastefully minimalist dining area located behind it is naturally illuminated throughout the day and is particularly stunning for golden-hour mealtimes. If you plan to visit during the cooler months, the living room fireplace keeps both areas warm and cosy, and the under-floor heating keeps cold toes at bay.
The connected kitchen has direct access to the main terrace and porch as well as another sunscreen terrace with outdoor dining facilities on the pool side. The kitchen is state of the art and fully equipped (2 fridges, induction hob, Bosch oven, dishwasher etc.), but if cooking is not your cup of tea, various catering services are available around town.
The master bedroom can be found at the end of the hallway and gives direct access to the terrace through French windows. It boasts a king size bed and a large en-suite shower room.
Further down the corridor are 2 other bedrooms with direct openings onto the swimming pool, one of which has 2 single beds that can combine to form a double bed, and the other one being a double bed. On the other side of the corridor is the second shower room and fourth bedroom, which contains a queen size bed and gives directly onto the front terrace. The villa’s open design permits seamless transition between the gardens, its various terraces, and the swimming pool.
The Garden Pavillion:
The garden pavillion, secluded in a calm part of the garden, boasts a further two bedrooms, the third shower room, as well as an independent living room and a small kitchen, fit for breakfasts and evening glasses of wine. Both bedrooms are twins that can be merged to form a large double bed and are harmoniously decorated.
Finally, with on-property parking available for 4 cars, exploring the surrounding areas has never been easier, although they may not be necessary with a boulangerie, supermarket, butchers, pharmacy, market and various restaurants all being within 1km. For outings further out, L’Illustre Théâtre de Pézenas is a cultural must-see due to the town being the birthplace of Molière. The power and grandeur of the seigneurs (Lords) of feudal France is on full display at the local Moulin du Concasseur, only to be outdone by the architectural feat of the roman empire with the Pont romain de Saint-Thibéry, a bridge supposedly crossed on elephant-back by Hannibal and his one-hundred-thousand-man strong army. Fortunately, our guests needn’t consider walking the famous 6-day march themselves, but simply relax in the haven of this beautiful villa.
