About Manoir and Farmhouse d'Eygalieres
Hidden away amongst the orchards surrounding the lovely village of Mollégès this Manoir and Farmhouse will take your breath away. From the ultra-secure double locking electric gate at the entrance to the beautifully tended semi-formal gardens, you will be deeply impressed by the care and attention lavished on this property.
Your security is ensured as the entire property is ring-fenced with strategically positioned CCTV cameras. The perfect place to self-isolate and bring your dog - he'll be quite safe inside the estate.
The wide driveway takes you to the courtyard from where the manoir and separate farmhouse open out.
The Manoir (approximately 600m):
Enter the manoir into a very large entrance hall and then move through into the sitting area. This comfortable and spacious salon opens onto the teerrace from where you will get your first glimpse of the gardens which stretch as far as the eye can see.
The main kitchen is in traditional Provencal farmhouse style and is fully equipped with double gas/electric cooker. The central island and other worktops are finished in polished slate. From there, wander through the Orangerie which doubles as a large dining room with seating for at least 10 people.
The gym, on the ground floor, is large enough for 4 people to do yoga with mats supplied. A yoga teacher can be arranged. There are also pilates floor exercises, a stand-alone weight station, free weights and a rowing machine.
There is a second fully-equipped kitchen mainly used by contractors, and utility room with fridge-freezer etc.
Upstairs: 4 x double bedrooms.
The Farmhouse (approximately 250m):
This is located on the other side of the courtyard. The Farmhouse has its own entrance and is completely autonomous but will never be rented out separately to the Manoir. This house would ideally suit four adults + two children.

The Farmhouse has its own pool and substantial private pool area.

Manoir: Saltwater pool approx. 15m x 7m with Roman steps along the length of one side. Automatic rigid cover. Not suitable for diving. Has pergola area for al fresco dining by the pool. Totally unoverlooked.
Farmhouse: Chlorine pool approx. 9m x 4.5m with Roman steps. Deep enough to dive but guests must take full responsibility for children. Totally unoverlooked.
30 acres of enclosed grounds so your children and dog/s will be very safe here.
The semi-formal gardens in front of the manoir feature beautiful green lawns (a rarity so far south!), a waterlily pond and an amazing lotus pond. Further from the house, the gardens become less formal with a delightful wildflower garden that is alive with bees and butterflies.
The tennis court is brand new and laid with all-weather synthetic finish. (Two racquets and lots of balls available).
Next door to the tennis your kids will love the vegetable garden where you can pick your own fruit, veg and fresh herbs for your lunch or dinner.
A big choice of terraces and pergola'd areas to choose from for relaxing and dining. The biggest terrace outside the manoir has fans and blinds so you won't overheat.
Loads of parking space. In fact, this whole property is unbelievably generous when it comes to space.

The guardians' house is tucked discreetly out of sight and has its own entrance.

We spent a wonderful week at the farmhouse of the Manoir d'Eygalières. Sonia and Darren, the guardians, are excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they work tirelessly maintaining the stunning estate of the Manoir. The house pool and outside kitchen area were all very well equipped and we felt that we were staying in a wonderful home. The quality and finish of the property were to a very high standard. We were welcomed with a very generous supply of fruit and veg from the “potager” also many essentials like milk bread cheese and wine! We would love to return in the future Thank you so much
What a fantastic fortnight we spent in Mollégès. We were very lucky with the weather and barely saw a cloud, although we did have the mistral on a couple of days making it hard to put up the umbrellas around the pool!
The farmhouse is beautifully furnished, both downstairs and upstairs and very clean. The outside kitchen area with sink and fridge is an added bonus! The house-keeping team, Sonia and Darren, did everything they could to make our stay stress free; daily pool clean and a mid stay clean, with change of bedding. With four large bedrooms (2 double and 2 twin), it is perfect for a group of 8.
The outside area is vast; the house is set within an estate with a large olive grove and grass area on which we played many a match of cricket!!! The pool is lovely, a good size, with 6 very comfortable sun loungers. It is a shame that the pool is accessed from the house over gravel as opposed to grass, which meant you constantly needed your flip flops to hand! But once on the tiled area, it is beautiful, the pool surrounded by lavender and barns.
The area is perfect for families. Mollégès is less than a five minute drive away, with two bakers, a butchers and a bar/bistro. There are many lovely villages nearby, most notably St Remy de Provence, with many restaurants and lovely shops and a fantastic market on a Wednesday which is not to be missed. In fact there is a market nearby every day of the week! As a family with young children (6 and 8) there is a lot to do and restaurants are very accommodating. we went to the beach (and hour and a half away), canoeing, swimming in rivers, visited chateaus, the choice is endless!
We loved our stay in Provence and the property itself served our two families to the tee. We were two couples and four children. The house itself was a 'home from home' and extremely comfortable. The pool was a great bonus which we utilised daily. The location was ideal and within reach of some wonderful villages and tourist attactions. A car is manditory. Sonia and Darren who manage the property were very helpful and happy to help when we needed some advice. Sonia in particular cooked us a wonderful meal on our last evening - I would highly recommend this.
