The house sits atop a hill with great views and a number of seating areas outside. The facilities inside are excellent with ensuites to all bedrooms, a large kitchen-diner and utility room.We had Sam prepare a meal for us one evening which was first class and enjoyed by both children and adults, definitely recommended.
The main attraction, however, is the enormous pool, we have been renting properties in France for more than 20 years and this is by far the largest and with the summer kitchen, the best appointed we have encountered.
All in all thoroughly recommended.
We stayed at Quatre Vents with a large group of our university friends, and I would really recommend it. The open-plan living area and outdoor seating areas made for social cooking, sun-downers and meals. The house is modern, well-equipped and spacious, with a stunning pool, tennis court and miles of land all around. It is positioned on the top of a hill and the surrounding views are gorgeous. There really is no need to go anywhere, but we took our kids swimming in the river at Lagrasse, and there was a brilliant inflatable attraction at the lake outside Carcassonne which everyone loved. The village of Lagrasse is charming and well worth a visit.
We had a fantastic break at this beautiful house. A perfect balance of comfort and contemporary style, the house has everything you need for a truly relaxing holiday. The huge pool is just as stunning as the house, with its fabulous outdoor kitchen and terrace. Idyllic setting too - perched on a hill with amazing views in every direction. We'll be back!
Had a well-earned girls' holiday here and loved it. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We had some great evenings down at the huge pool area - perfect for drinks and meals under the stars. Took a trip into Lagrasse which is very picturesque with great restaurants and a lovely abbey. Can't recommend this property highly enough.
4 Vents lived up to all our expectations and was an incredible place to celebrate my husband's birthday. On arrival, we had a warm welcome from Carlos. The space and facilities in the house were ideal for our large group aged 16 months to 70. The amazing pool, grounds and river make this a very special place and one you will wish to return to.
The property is stunning. It is located in an idyllic location overlooking vineyards and farm land. It is very private and totally secluded and ideal for relaxing, unwinding and having fun with the family.
The pool area is exceptional especially for those who swim properly as 22 metres long. There is a great kitchen area down by the pool, ideal for lunch and not moving too far. There is ample shade when the sun gets too hot and excellent facilities for family games of tennis.
The living area in the villa is good with nice views. The bathrooms are all new and lovely. Bedrooms are good and are better when a breeze cools them at night. A good place too for running and exploring the area. Lagrasse is wonderful and has many French restaurants. Very unspoilt and untouched by modern means. Chilling, resting, swimming, playing sport and soaking up a very peaceful way of life was how we spent our 2 weeks. It was hot too. Our children aged 9 and 12 had a fabulous time as well!!!
