You are also close to all of St Tropez´s wonderful beach clubs which are a definite ´must do´ during your stay.
Established golf courses are nearby at St Maxime, and the Golf de Gassin, and mooring opportunities for boats at Port Grimaud. The Polo club of St Tropez sits at the foot of Gassin, and a heliport is 5 mins away in Grimaud, with regular services from Nice and Monaco. Paris can be reached in 4 hours by TGV from Les Arcs or Hyères. Nice airport 1 hr 15 mins, and Toulon/Hyeres is 45 mins away with a regular service from London City Airport every Friday evening.
The famous market in St Tropez takes place every Tuesday and Saturday morning throughout the year selling everything from wonderful fruit and veg, quiches, cheeses, meats, olives and spices to Provencal tablecloths and an amazing array of beachwear.
St Tropez town houses enough clothes and shoe shops to keep any fashionista truly occupied, and enough bars, cafes and restaurants (with endless people-watching potential) to entertain those not interested in shopping.
The famous beaches of Pamplonne - Club 55, Tahiti and the like - are an easy drive away, as are the family beaches of L'Escalet, Les Salins and many more.
