What a privilege to have the chance to stay in this old family house. The magic is that the villa and gardens have retained much of their atmosphere and charm from previous generations. However, the interior is stylishly modern and very comfortable. If you want to discover what the Luberon is all about, just 5 minutes away by car is the market town of Apt (the market is on Saturdays). A good place for lunch here is the Bistro de France. Another place well worth visiting is the hilltop village ("village perche") of Saignon: do make the extra effort and climb the rock - you'll be repaid by a fantastic panoramic view across the landscape.
This lovely place is available to let all year round, so you can relax and enjoy its delights in any season.
