About Villa Pagnol

Luberon Provence family vacation villa : this is an attractive villa with exceptionally large pool set in a hamlet at the heart of the beautiful Luberon countryside, Villa Pagnol is only a few miles from charming villages and small towns where you will find restaurants, shops and local markets.

The first floor living room boasts a wrap-around balcony - a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scenery. A ground floor master bedroom offers direct access to the garden and pool terrace, where a fabulous, fully equipped summer kitchen means you can stay poolside all day long, if you want to. Spacious grounds and views over the Luberon contribute to making this villa an ideal base for a relaxing holiday.

Well-known authors and filmmakers have contributed to increasing the popularity of the region over the last 25 years but the landscape and villages retain their timeless appeal. The closest of these, Grambois, was used as a setting for the evocative films of Marcel Pagnol’s novels, as was Mirabeau just a little further away. But if you are intent on staying in the 21st century, you can enjoy paintballing or microlight-flying in this area, as well as a gourmet chocolate factory tour or a visit to a lavender distillery in Apt. Climbing, hiking, riding and cycling are also popular, and there are plenty of marked paths. The Luberon is also one of the best places in France to observe the night-sky, and visitors are welcome at the Observatory of Haute Provence about 20 miles from this Luberon Provence family vacation villa.
