The surrounding countryside is covered in excellent vineyards and the popular town of Pézenas is just a short drive.

This lovely French villa with private pool is located in the beautiful village of Margon in the Languedoc Region of South France. The villa is situated in a quiet location with views of Margon Chateau just across the garden. This spacious French villa has 6 bedrooms in total. There are 4 double bedrooms (3 en suite) and 2 twin bed rooms. The villa comes with a large swimming pool, a beautiful garden, private parking for 5 cars, 2 terraces, internet and a large summer kitchen. Big room for table tennis on the ground floor.

The main attraction of this French villa with private pool is the outdoor space. The garden is lovely and you can easily spend all your days lazing by the pool or eating and drinking on the terraces. One thing is for sure, you will not tire of the view from the garden over the village of Margon and the stunning 13th century Chateau, owned by the same family since Louis Quatorze. If you are on holiday together with friends or the family, then this is the perfect place to unwind and have a great time.

The actual entrance to the villa is on the first floor which comprise the main living space. On this floor you will find 2 twin bedrooms, a double bedroom, a large family bathroom (with bath, toilet, basin and shower) and a large master bedroom with huge en suite bathroom which contains a bath, wash basin, toilet and walk-in shower. There is also a spacious living room which has recently been made over to feature comfortable seating, a TV (French channels) and a fireplace. The living room provides access out to the pool, garden and summer kitchen. There is a dining room with seating for 8-10 people. Wifi internet is available.

Also on this floor there is a spacious kitchen which has recently been completely refurbished and updated. It is fitted with all brand new appliances. There is a kitchen island with stools. French windows lead out onto one of the terraces.

On the ground floor there is a further two double bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms.

Outside: This French villa with private heated pool is comfortably situated within its own grounds - so there is plenty of space to explore and to find a shady place to relax. The large swimming pool (10m x 4m) is fitted with roman steps and has an electronic safety cover. Surrounding the pool there are plenty of sun loungers. There is a garage for 2 cars and parking for 3 others behind the property. There are two terraces at the rear and side of the house.

Village of Margon, Languedoc.
Margon is a nice Languedoc village and the beaches are under 30 mins away. The surrounding countryside is covered in excellent vineyards and the popular town of Pézenas is just a short drive.
The village Margon is very small and quiet. There is a restaurant in the village and bread can be delivered fom Roujan 3km away. Roujan has a large supermarket, several shops, bars and restaurants.

Pezenas is a famous historical town with winding streets, artisans shops and a good selection of restaurants and cafe bars.
The Saturday street market is a popular way of spending a morning browsing and buying up the local wines and cheeses. Two nights a week you can stroll along the ancient cobbled streets where artisan shops and restaurants open late.
There are some really good restaurants in Pezenas and two Michelin star restaurants in Beziers within a 20 minute drive.
Sandy coastal beaches are a 30 minute drive away - Vias or Marseillan Plage and Agde has a great waterpark to entertain the kids.
Bouzigue is world famous for oysters.
Beziers airport is 20 mins drive, Montpellier is 50, Perpignan and Carcassonne are aprox 1h 20m. Girona in Spain (Ryanair hub) is aprox 2h drive.
There are 2 golf courses close by and many rivers to discover.
The walled city of Carcassonnne is well worth a visit especially to see the night time fireworks.
