About Les Ibis

Words don't do this property justice when it comes to describing the view. Set on a low south-facing promontory, this old wine domaine looks out over vineyards towards the Mediterranean. There are practically no other buildings in sight and you will be able to watch the sun go down (or even come up, if you're an early riser!) with a totally unencumbered view.

This spacious 140m2 house with accommodation on 2 levels is one of two holiday homes and four luxury Bed and Breakfast suites that share a large estate set in the heart of 300 acres of nature reserve. The garden adjoining the house and the above-ground swimming pool (4.5m diameter) are for private use for this villa. The beaches of Portiragnes are only 1.5 mile away!

Ground floor:
Large glass doors from terrace into a very large open-plan living-dining room / kitchen (80m2). One large, brand new sofa and two armchairs plus other comfortable seating.
TV, video, DVD. Fireplace.

Large dining table with two benches and two chairs.

The spacious kitchen area has a comfortable dining area, dishwasher, new gas cooker, microwave, large fridge and plenty of worksurface and cupboards. There is a washing machine and a deep-freezer in the garage next door.

Shower room with WC on ground floor.

Upstairs
Open-tread wooden stairs lead directly from the living room into a nicely furnished landing and corridor.

Four bedrooms
Bedroom 1 (14 m²) with queensize double bed (160 cm), overlooking the terrace.
Bedroom 2 (12 m²) with queensize double bed (160 cm) and a single sofa-bed, overlooking the terrace. The double bed can be converted into two singles, so the room would accommodate three single beds.
Spacious Bedroom 3 (14m²) with standard double bed (140cm), with view across the countryside towards the Pyrenees. This room communicates with the fourth much smaller bedroom (8m²) which has a pair of bunk beds. The two rooms are separated by two curtains across the doorway. Perfect for a family with small children. The room also has a door out to the landing but no window.

Spacious terrace with a cypress tree, plenty of tables, chairs and sun-loungers. Portable BBQ.

There is an adventure park with ziplines, rope walkways and Tarzan swing ropes amongst the pine trees about 300m from the house - great fun for grown-ups as well !

OUTSIDE

Garden with terrace and private above-ground swimming pool of 6m x 3.50m x 1.40m depth.

Customer Reviews

  • AUG 2013

" The property description and photos were accurate. The booking procedure and service was excellent, just as before. I would have no hesitation in recommending you or using you again. The main bedroom had a very comfortable bed and this property is cooler and therefore more comfortable at night because of its location. "
