Serenity de Pouzolles is a charming French village house that offers a balanced combination of historic architectural features and modern-life updates. With 5 large bedrooms, a cosy lounge, a large dining area and a beautiful kitchen, this is an ideal property for large groups as there is plenty of space for mingling with many private areas. There is a completely private and enclosed outdoor courtyard which includes a heated swimming pool, outdoor dining area and a gas BBQ. The location offers access to Gorges and kayaking, wild and wide sandy beaches and stunning villages and vineyards. Hérault is a true gem for those seeking an unspoilt South of France experience.
Enter the property through large gates in the centre of the village and walk through to the outdoor enclosed courtyard, offering a beautiful private heated swimming pool, gas BBQ and outdoor dining area.
As you enter the house through the courtyard, you'll come into the large dining room that offers seating for up to 12 people. The cosy lounge is next door and is equipped with a non-working fireplace, a TV and seating for up to 8 people. The kitchen is large and well-equipped with an electric hob, dishwasher and full fridge/freezer, as well as a small dining table overlooking the swimming pool area. You'll find everything that you need in this kitchen to make a delicious meal with local ingredients from the village market. On this floor you will also find a WC with washing machine.
The first floor is composed of a family bathroom and 3 bedrooms. The bathroom has a sink, WC and shower/bath and is shared between 2 of the bedrooms on this floor. Bedroom 1 and 2 have a double bed and ample storage space. Bedroom 3 has a King sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower, WC and sink - there is also a small dressing room area in this bedroom.
The second floor has a further 3 bedrooms (one of which is not available for guests) and a further family bathroom with bath, WC, shower and sink. Bedroom 4 has a King bed, ample storage space and fireplace, this bedroom overlooks the swimming pool. Bedroom 5 has twin beds that can be pushed to make a double on request - this bedroom has a beautiful view over the surrounding area of Pouzolles.
The location of this house is ideal and is within walking distance to the centre of the village, where you will find a boulangerie, a bar/restaurant, a small market and a Tabac. You can also walk to a beautiful family-owned Domaine where you can taste their delicious wine. Beaches are 40 minutes drive away. The village itself features a playground, a boules field and other events such as food trucks and festivals throughout the warmer months.
