The Mas du Moulin is a recently renovated stone farmhouse (or French ‘mas’) which used to be a family wine estate in the XIXth century. This traditional mas sits at the heart of a vast, mature garden surrounded by apple trees and orchards. It offers a great venue for those willing to relax or to experience the authentic Mediterranean lifestyle. The property is conveniently located on the outskirt of Montpellier, a stone's throw away from the golf course of Montpellier-Baillargues.
The house interiors represent a beautiful combination of spacious modern living with period architectural features, all decorated with charm and taste, following its conversion and full restoration in 2016. The elegant stone farmhouse of 160m2 offers ample living space with beautiful volumes and comprises nicely decorated rooms set on two levels with direct views overlooking the garden.
On the ground floor, is the living room with high ceilings and tall French windows which opens onto a modern kitchen and dining area. There is a large master bedroom with its en-suite bathroom on the ground floor. The first floor is accessed through a beautiful stone staircase landing onto a corridor and leading to the three bedrooms: one large en-suite twin bedroom, one other twin bedroom, one large quadruple bedroom, one family bathroom. Each bathroom is equipped with towels, hairdryer, and a fine selection of toiletries.
The kitchen and dining area directly opens onto the terrace equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue, all perfect for afternoon lunches and al fresco dining to enjoy the tranquillity and its summer fragrances. The kitchen is very well appointed with all appliances and many accessories, so as to facilitate fine cooking after shopping for food and groceries at the local village market.
The swimming pool (11 x 5m) is located just opposite the house and surrounded by a lawn and olive trees and other species. There is a private parking area inside the property for a few cars.
