About Beach Apartment
Two bedroom apartment with terrace on a complex with a shared swimming pool.
The Pyrenees are visible from the south-facing terrace beyond mature trees in open countryside.
The grounds of the complex are spaciously laid out with flowering shrubs and trees which provide shade from the hot summer sun.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed, built-in wardrobe and shuttered opening windows.
Bedroom 2 has two single beds and shuttered opening windows. There are bedside tables and a switched light by each bed.
The bathroom has a bath with shower over, and basin. There is a separate WC.
The kitchen has a hob, small oven, dishwasher, fridge, separate freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave and is fully equipped for 6 people.
The lounge area has a TV, DVD and CD/tape player. There is a double sofa bed and two easy chairs. The dining area has a table and six chairs. There is access from this room onto the terrace. Internet access
In the hall is a large built in storage cupboard here which contains many picnic/beach accessories. Iron and ironing board, hairdryer and parasols.
Bed linen and tea towels are included but not towels.
Central heating, room fans, cot and highchair supplied.
The long, sandy beaches of the Mediterranean are within easy walking distance or a few minutes drive. There is a large car park with direct access to the beach. A little further north is a large inland lake with hides for watching the wildlife. We have seen pink flamingos there.
There is an 18-hole championship and 9-hole golf course nearby and many water sports are available at St Cyprien. The Aqualand waterpark is also nearby. There is an equestrian centre 5 minutes drive away.

Swimming pool is open from the beginning of June to end of September and accessed by a disc which will be sent to you with the key.
There is ample parking on the complex next to the apartment.

This apartment is located on a select, secure development within walking distance of the marina and lovely long sandy beaches of the Mediterranean.
Within five minutes walk of the apartment is a small shopping complex with supermarket, bakery, greengrocer, fishmonger, and restaurants.
There are a wealth of activities available locally – most water sports, horse-riding, golf, sports centre, Aqualand water park, and inland lake with many species of wildlife.
Further afield there is the spectacular scenery and magnificent views of the Pyrenees to be discovered.
Ryanair have flights to Gerona (1.5 hour easy drive away) and Perpignan (35 minutes drive away). Car hire is cheaper in Spain but often incurs a daily surcharge for taking the car into France. Budget airlines also fly to Toulouse, Carcassonne and Montpelier. The nearest train station is at Elne. There is a bus service to and from Perpignan. Travel by car from the channel ports is 10-12 hours.
By Car - Elne (historic town) 15 mins; Perpignan (diverse city)30 mins; Collioure (picturesque haven for art lovers) 15 mins; Carcassonne (spectacular walled city) 1.5 hrs; Ceret (unique Saturday market and centre for modern art) 35 mins. Spain is about 30 mins away; the coastal route is spectacular.

- - Tenants are asked to leave the apartment clean and tidy. Owners do have someone who goes in and deals with the linen and will clean if necessary. Tenants are asked to pay for cleaning if significant work is needed.
- - Discount available for lettings in excess of one month.
- - Arrivals are normally Saturday in high season but can be flexible in low season. Guests should arrive after 4pm and leave before 10am.
The key to the apartment will be sent to you by recorded delivery and you are requested to return it by the same method once you are back home.
You are requested to leave the apartment clean and tidy on your departure. A fee of £25.00 will be deducted from your security deposit if you do not do so.
There is a small shopping complex within a few minutes walk. Larger shops with extended opening hours are a 5-minute drive away.
